Spring Citrus Asparagus

This sautéed asparagus recipe is bursting with flavourful, and is simple to make with only a few ingredients. Eat it on its own, as a side dish to meats or chop it up and add to a salad.

Asparagus

2Tbsp

Lemon Juice

1Tbsp

Lemon Zest

1/4tsp

Kosher Salt

1/4tsp

Black Pepper

1Tbsp

Extra-virgin Olive Oil

Instructions

Wash asparagus and remove the hard ends.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium. Add asparagus, and season with salt and pepper. Cook, tossing occasionally, until lightly browned and crisp-tender, 10 to 15 minutes, depending on thickness.

Add lemon zest and cook 1 minute. Add lemon juice, toss to coat, and serve warm.
