No-Bake Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Squares

These no-bake dark chocolate peanut butter squares are a healthier version of your favourite peanut butter cup. Absolutely delicious, and so easy to make! These squares contain only six staple ingredients and take only five minutes of prep time. The result is a chocolate and peanut butter flavour explosion from a high fibre, high protein, lower sugar dessert.

Natural Peanut Butter
1/2cup
Almond Flour
1/4cup
Maple Syrup
1/4cup
Ground Flax Seed
1/2cup
Dark Chocolate Chips
1Tbsp
Coconut Oil
Instructions

Mix peanut butter, almond flour, maple syrup and ground flax together in a medium bowl until well combined.

Press mixture into a greased pan (8 x 8-inch square pan or an 8.5 x 4.5-inch loaf pan, either works!).

Add chocolate chips and coconut oil to a small microwave-safe bowl and melt by microwaving for 1 minute, stirring every 20 seconds to prevent burning.

Drizzle melted topping over bars, spreading in an even layer with a spatula.

Freeze for 30-minutes. Remove from freezer and wait 5-10 minutes before cutting into 12 bars. Serve chilled and enjoy!

Store in an airtight container in the freezer for 1-2 months or the fridge for up to a week.
