Spicy Gut-Loving Hot Chocolate

Dairy-free spiced hot chocolate.

In a small saucepan, combine the dark chocolate, cacao powder, cashew milk, vanilla extract, spices and 1 tablespoon of maple syrup. Heat over medium-low and whisk until the chocolate has melted and the ingredients are completely combined.

Once it’s at your desired temperature, whisk in the collagen. Taste for sweetness and add more maple syrup as needed.

Divide between mugs and top with desired toppings, such as marshmallows, whipped cream, chocolate shavings or another pinch of spices.

Substitutions: Substitute the cashews milk for your favourite milk. Add more or less spice depending on your taste. Substitute the maple syrup for honey or coconut sugar
