Air-fryer Sweet Potato Fries

Sweet potato fries are pretty much guaranteed to bring a smile to your face. And I’ve got two methods for you to make crispy sweet potato fries without the need for a deep fryer. Either option will result in tasty, well seasoned, crispy fries. Don’t forget the spicy mayo dip!

Sweet Potato

1tsp

Arrowroot Powder

1/2Tbsp

Extra-Virgin Olive Oil

1/2tsp

Garlic Powder

1/2tsp

Smoked Paprika

1/2tsp

Kosher Salt

Instructions

Cut the sweet potato into slabs, then cut into fries, keeping the size as equal as possible.

Preheat the air fryer to 375ºF.

In a large bowl, add the sweet potato fries along with the arrowroot. Toss to combine. Then drizzle the olive oil and add the spices and salt. Mix well with your hands, ensuring they are all covered equally.

Place in the air fryer, ensuring there is space between each fry. You will need to work in batches.

Bake for six to eight minutes, flip and then bake for another six to eight minutes, until crispy.

Substitutions: No olive oil: use avocado oil. No arrowroot powder: use cornstarch. No sweet potatoes: use russet potatoes instead.
